When a budget seems too low
Determining If You Will Audition For Jobs Based Upon Budget Range and Scope of Work
In order for a job to be posted on Voices, clients are required to select a Talent Budget that meets a minimum amount for the type of work they are requesting. Talent Budget minimums help ensure that clients are successful in finding a professional voice actor that meets their needs, and that voice actors are fairly compensated for their work.
However, if you feel that a client's Talent Budget does not match the work described in their job posting you are under no obligation to audition or quote within the stated Talent Budget. Please ensure you always quote what you would charge for the scope of the work required.
Controlling Your Job Notifications
As with most things, rates differ from talent to talent and the choice of whether to audition or not is up to each individual voice artist listed on our site. We are providing opportunities and as much information as we can to help you make your decision.
If you prefer not to be notified of jobs below a certain budget range, you can login to your account and update your preferences.
This will not prevent you from being invited to those jobs but it will prevent you from receiving invitations via email to audition for jobs that fall within the ranges you do not wish to be notified of.
