Mike's voice is a Pleasant, Smooth Baritone, and is Warm, Conversational, and Friendly; he's the Guy Next Door. Mike will convince your audience that his character is Believable, Real, and Authentic. His delivery can be Strong, Confident, Authoritative, and Direct, or Soft, Natural, Sincere, and Casual, and anything in between.

He has over ten years of radio and voiceover experience that started in high school, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting (Communications), and Theatre/Drama training in high school and college. Mike has had vocal coaching with J. Michael Collins, and is a graduate of Joe Zieja's Voice Acting Academy.

Mike Doerner took German for six years in high school and college, plus a year each of Spanish and French. Mike also taught himself Russian when learning to play the balalaika, so he is familiar with the sounds of these languages, and is able to do the accents in English. He can also do convincing Australian, Irish, and British accents. Growing up in the US Mid-Atlantic region, Mike has no discernable accent or dialect, but living in the South for decades has taught him accents from Georgia, the Gulf Coast, and the Carolinas.
