hey, it's matt here and I've got tom on the phone with plain white tees and talking about what a show last night. Well, tom you guys really did a great job. Thanks for coming out to vernal. We really appreciate it. Yeah, I think that's our first time ever playing in vernal. And man, I already want to come back. So, so fun. And it was just, everybody was just, you know, I love it when, whenever there's people out there just smiling, singing along, having a good time, it makes you feel so like that's why we do this, you know, So the crowd was just amazing last night. And yeah, I don't know why we've never been to vernal before. But yeah, we definitely got to get back out there, you know, I'll tell you what was cool tom was looking at this and this is the first time I've seen you guys in concert. It was a great show by the way. I loved all your songs. But the cool thing was to look out there and see it wasn't just one type of audience and I'm talking, I saw dads and daughters. I saw, I saw mom's, I saw younger kids, you guys reached through the generations. It's awesome. Yeah, I was gonna say that too. I mean, it it it is pretty cool that, you know, because we've had some um, some big hits of course, like hey there, Delilah, Rhythm of love 1234. Like those are songs that still like somehow hated Delilah is still like trending on Tiktok every few months, you know, so it's like, there's the kids are still discovering it. Obviously, you know, people our age are still fans. And so it's like, and then their parents or even, you know, it's like, yeah, I don't know. We, we've gotten really lucky with, um, just, yeah, kind of being able to, uh, to reach everybody, you know, Because I feel like, I don't know, I try to put a lot of honesty into the songs and I feel like that just kind of resonates across the board. That's why I noticed your songs that they stretch across the board. It's so cool because your show kind of goes up and then you're like all over, you got like the slower songs. You got the newer stuff. And speaking of the newer stuff you mentioned on stage, I heard you say something about maybe a new album coming out sometime. Yeah. So we have, we just got into the studio for the first time. Boy. It's um, well, we did put out a christmas song last year, Winter Wonderland, but that doesn't really count, right. Um, but yeah, it's been a while since we've gotten in, obviously with Covid and stuff, we couldn't really get together for a while and do stuff. That's, that's another thing, by the way, just being able to play shows amazing again, you know, because it was so long that we couldn't do that. We couldn't get together. Um, but yeah, we got into the studio last month and actually recorded uh the first track off of whatever this next album, you know, it's still kind of shaping up still in the writing process and, you know, demoing and stuff like that. Um but yeah, I mean, 2022 is going to bring some new plain white tees music and hopefully by the end of the year, a brand new album. Oh, that is awesome. We're looking forward to it. Like I said, I love watching everyone come down to that stage last night. And the cool thing was, I forget about the cell phone thing down. Like you said, it's so great getting back to normal, getting these concerts going again, watching everyone their cell phones up and the lights. I just love that kind of feel. The feel was great last night. It felt so good to be back with you guys on there and the energy and actually have that, you know, kind of forget about Covid in the crazy couple of years we've had and kind of get back to normal. Exactly yeah. Just any chance to feel a little little glimpse of normal again. It's what we all need right now, I think. Well that is awesome. Well, I'll tell you what, we're hoping to get you guys back here again. The people loved it. I loved it was a great show and hopefully you guys will swing around this way again and we'd love to have you, like I say, we've posted a lot of stuff up on our facebook pages, it's been really cool and I just love the energy and it was awesome to meet you guys and well, what an amazing show. Well thank you. And yeah, I mean, honestly, we're already talking about, we got to get back here. So yeah, we will definitely come back eventually. Hopefully sooner than later. I've already had people on facebook saying, you know what we loved? Are they coming? I've already had a couple people saying, are they coming back? So they're already asking for you? We're gonna get you back here because like I said, it was so awesome and I love you guys coming out here. Perfect. Well then I guess they will see you soon. Right? Alright, alright.
