In a remote corner of the rainforest on the Southeast Asian Island of Borneo is a very special school for orphaned orangutans. Orangutans are one of our closest relatives with an extraordinary capacity for learning. But like us, they don't always get it right. Many of these orangutan orphans lost their mums to a poacher's bullet. But at jungle school, a dedicated team are teaching them vital survival skills. Amongst the pupils are class clown Valentino, always looking for a shortcut alpha male Casper who has anger management issues and big boy Benny, struggling with childhood obesity. It's the commitment and passion of the school staff that give these orientations their best chance of survival when as adults, they are finally set free in the wild.
