Hey, how are you today? Well, I hope the title of this message is even when you don't see, we'll be discussing tithing. You know, the other day, I came across an article and as I read along, I realized the author in this article was talking about me, the main focus of the text was to share with his readers his experience and continuing to tithe. And so during one of the hardest seasons of his life, along with sharing his struggles, he also spoke about how he grew in faith and overcame major tests. one of the tests he faced was being offered a job that would lift his family out of their financial struggles but contradicted what God wanted him to do income and employment wise, even though the offer of increase was enticing, he followed the path that God had chosen for him. You know, in that moment I was taken back to the times that I had to trust God and believe that my faithfulness and tithing and sowing was not in vain. I held onto the truth that I would see and reap a bountiful harvest. But if I'm being completely honest with you, there were times when I questioned whether what I was giving was working for me and if it was making a difference in my life, you know, I told the Lord something must be wrong. I'm tithing and I'm sewing, but I'm still in the same situation financially spiritually and physically what is going on, I really was expecting an immediate change. I told God I want to continue tithing, but I also have bills that I need to pay. I need relief. No, let me stop you right here for a moment to ask you if you yourself can relate to such a time as this. Maybe for you, you're coming out of a situation such as that having witnessed the mighty hand of God and are willing to share your story of perseverance and hope with all who ask, how did you make it through?
