on the 14th of January 2016 a freak storm at the central coast, a storm so severe it ripped roofs from homes, cut power on cause major damage. Berkeley Veil Rural Fire Brigade was one of those victims, with pieces of the fire station found hundreds of metres from their origin. The destruction was reported by TV radio by the local orifice and also by the Arafat's commissioner. Apart from two trucks lucky to escape the fire station and everything in it was completely destroyed. It's now being over two years since that storm crew have fought long and hard to stay positive, challenges of local politics and insurance have taken their toll. But our community has stood behind us, supported us with a vibrant membership, much needed funding and even a temporary home look at storage king walking now, please to say that long and enduring negotiations have a last produced a result. Work will now commence on what we believe will be a vital cornerstone for our community. It is our hope. In 2018 your crew will return to the heart of with state of the art facilities for when you are most in need. Until then. We continue to turn out each and every time our community calls the people.
