All right. Hey kids, welcome to nobody's radio station. It is Meech advice and I thank you so much for tuning in and if you happen to be listening to this interview on Nobody's are somebody's podcast at a later date. No music inside of this show. As of course, with licensing, that is not possible. But I encourage you to listen to this when it does. We play on nobody's radio station on mixed cloud on the app. We can have the music and the talk in there when that goes online and you can find that at mixed cloud dot com slash nobody's radio station. I have a great conversation with white trash singer and main man Dave Alvin. We go into a great detailed history of the band. We start at the beginning of course, through the making of their debut record, the second record, C. O C K. When David was working with different musicians at that point and how that record came together. Um leaving the music business screen in the film industry and coming back to music and how that all came about. It's a great long conversation. I hope you'll sit back and enjoy the ride with me. I think Dave so much for his time and his energy and putting up with all my questions and just getting to know him in the band and I hope you will too here and we're gonna play some songs from the first three records as well. Mixed in with this too. And I got to give a big shout out to my unpaid promoter Marie's for helping to set this all up and she put the wheels in motion. She reached out to Dave after he liked one of our Paradise City facebook pages, one of the episodes where we played one of his songs, where we played one of the white trash songs, The crawl, I believe it was uh, several weeks back. Dave responded to that and Marie's reached out to him and here we go, we have an interview and that's why I have this opportunity to present that to you. So shout out to her. And of course Dave himself and let's get to know a lot about the band. Here we go here on nobody's radio station heavy rock radio.
