we open on an empty petrol station. There is a young girl in her twenties working at the petrol station kiosk. It's quiet. Oclock in the kiosk reads three AM, Apart from the guy refilling the shelves, She's alone. Car headlights flash across the forecourt. As a car pulls up, the driver gets out to get petrol. He's in his fifties. He looks really tired and his hair is dishevelled. He yawns as we watched the petrol pump counter tick up to $10. Then he slowly shuffles to the kiosk, Get a love! How are you going? He says, tired but cheerfully. The girl looks over a shoulder at her colleague. She flashes a smile back to the man. He says, Number six and one of those, please. The driver gestures towards one of the shelves. The girl checks number six and slips a Cadbury dairy milk into the drawer. Courteous but professional. Been busy? He asks. Suppose, she replies. The driver flashes her a smile as he pays and leaves. She notices he's left something behind. You forgot this, she calls holding up the bar of Cadbury Dairy milk. He looks at her with a smile and shakes his head without even saying a word. As he walks back to the car, we notice he's wearing tartan slippers. There's a pause. We hear the wine of the pa's system kicking in love. You, dad bellows across the empty forecourt. Dad smiles and climbs into the driver's seat. He pulls out of the garage and heads back the way he came. His daughter smiles warmly as she watches him go. We cut to a purple background. A glass and a half of milk pause beautifully down the screen. It fills the lettering on a chunk of Cadbury dairy milk, and we hear a voice over at the same time, which says there's a glass and a half in everyone.
