Hi, how's it going? This is Amanda here on sophisticated boom, boom on WFMU. I am so pleased to be here. It is really lovely to be able to play just a short set of music for all of you. Fine people. This New Year's Day. Happy New Year. What else do you say? You don't say anything else except for what you just heard. Songs wise, Eddie Money closed out the set with Peace in our time. You may have heard that song on the radio a lot in 1989 when it came out and it may have utterly vanished from your memory and your consciousness until like a week ago. At least that's what happened to me. That's what happened to me before Eddie Money. We heard Neil Innes with time to kill. And before that, we heard Mary Margaret o'hara with dear darling Beach House came before that with D A R L I N G. We also heard Julie Cruise with Summer Kisses, winter Tears. I took that off of a soundtrack album for the movie until the end of the world which I recommend if you haven't seen it. It's, it is a vim vendors joint, don't, you know?
