mhm. Between 2000 and 16 and 2020. UNICEF China kept its commitment to Children's rights at the centre of its work. Our work focused on building evidence to support and inform government policies. We used pilot programmes to deliver higher quality services at scale. Yeah, a crucial part of UNICEF's work in child's rights focused on equality for girls and boys, Children in impoverished regions, Children affected by migration and Children with disabilities. UNICEF helped build the capacity of health workers to provide improved care and nutrition and helped families access services and make healthy choices. Mhm, mhm. UNICEF has been supporting government partners as they build China's child protection system so that Children are better protected from violence, abuse, exploitation and neglect. UNICEF has focused on improving learning and skills for girls and boys, building teachers capacity, strengthening the education system and providing evidence to inform educational policies. UNICEF social policy work focused on reducing poverty and improving social protection for Children. UNICEF worked with the government of China to increase investment for Children in 19 countries in Africa and Asia. UNICEF was among the first organisations to support the government's response to the COVID 19 outbreak we started by providing medical supplies and training healthcare workers and later helped Children return to school safely. Our success depends on partnerships working with key partners in government, academia, the private sector, civil society and the public. UNICEF will build on its achievements to ensure that all girls and boys in China have the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
