Introducing the Voice Over Experts Podcast
Looking for advice from the best in the business of voice acting?
A brand new podcast christened “Voice Over Experts†has just entered into the world of podcasting, offering a unique perspective on the art of voice acting and the business of voice overs from a variety of acclaimed instructors hailing from North America and abroad.
Ever heard of voice acting?
Becoming a voice actor or getting into voice overs is one of the hottest entrepreneurial careers at present, much in part to the boom of celebrity voice acting in animated films and video games along with the attention paid to actors from Hollywood who narrate films, documentaries and of course, provide their vocal talent for broadcast television commercials.
That’s one of the reasons why we were inspired to develop a podcast for aspiring voice actors that shares industry secrets, tips on technique, and candid advice about voice acting and performing as a voice over talent in the age of new media.
In truth, there has never been a better time to get into voice acting, and with the arrival of the Voice Over Experts podcast, getting started as a voice actor has become even easier and more exciting than ever before!
The first episode will be ready soon and we’re very eager to get it out to you.
This podcast has been months in the making and the excitement around here from our team and the voice coaches involved is simply contagious! You’ll be catching the spirit too 🙂
If you have any topics that you’d like to see covered on Voice Over Experts or a favorite coach that you want to hear on the show, leave a comment or send me an email at [email protected] with a pitch for Voice Over Experts.
To your success!

This is an excellent idea. Although, as a musician, I was very familiar with the musical analogies in this edition, I look forward to future topics from some of our community’s best.
Also just wondered who the English female accent belonged to at the top and tail of the podcast? How about letting other Voices talents read this script (maybe for a nominal $1 fee)?
Finally, I did think the music bed was a bit cheesy…
Hi Bettye and Tony,
Thank you for your comments and I’m pleased that you are both excited about Voice Over Experts.
Bettye: We’re all looking forward to hearing your first episode! Thank you for being a part of this podcast.
Tony: Thank you for your comments on Marc Cashman’s lecture “Finding the Music in Copy”. As a music major myself, I thought it was extremely well done too. The British voice actor is Julie-Ann Dean. Regarding the podcast theme music, all music beds are cheesy when you think about it 🙂 It’s pretty groovy and memorable but it’s just my opinion.
Cheers,
Stephanie
Do you teach others to do podcasting or is podcasting the format you use to teach? I am looking to begin podcasting and was looking for a specific podcasting class.
