Voices is a global company based in Canada, and as such we comply with laws that restrict us from doing business with individuals and businesses based in sanctioned countries. We comply with both Canada’s Special Economic Measures Act (SEMA) and US federal law with the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanction’s list.

Businesses or individuals in the following countries are not permitted to have an account or transact on the Voices marketplace:

  • Burma (Myanmar)
  • Burundi
  • Central African Republic
  • Cote d’Ivoire
  • Cuba
  • Darfur
  • Democratic Republic of Congo
  • Iran
  • Iraq
  • Lebanon
  • Liberia
  • Libya
  • Mali
  • Nicaragua
  • North Korea
  • Russia
  • Somalia
  • Sudan (including South Sudan)
  • Syria
  • Ukraine
  • Venezuela
  • Yemen
  • Zimbabwe
