Voices Named to Deloitte’s 2017 Technology Fast 500™
London, ON | November 09, 2017
Voices, the largest online marketplace for voice actors and audio production services, announced today that it has been recognized as one of the fastest growing technology companies in North America on two internationally-renowned rankings: the 2017 Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ and the Deloitte Technology Fast 50™.
Voices’s growth is driven by its ability to offer producers, creative professionals and marketing teams instant access to a global network of over 200,000 professional voice over actors, helping them complete any type of project faster and easier than ever before. This momentum has contributed to the organization’s 362% percent in revenue growth from 2013 to 2016. This recognition comes on the heels of Voices’s $18 million growth investment from Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital and acquisition of Voicebank.net, which is expected to further fuel growth in 2018 and beyond.
The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 recognizes the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies in North America, in which Voices ranked #255. Additionally, Voices is listed at #40 on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50™, which honors the top 50 Canadian technology companies with the highest revenue-growth percentage over the past four years.
“What’s been central to our continued growth is our desire to lead and transform this nearly 100-year-old industry for the digital age,” said David Ciccarelli, Voices CEO. “Our talented team shows relentless dedication to our vision of positively influencing the world through the power of the human voice. Our team lives this out on a daily basis by building new relationships and expanding into new markets globally. We are all honored to be recognized as a leading technology company on these prestigious lists.”
“New technologies have disrupted various industries in ways that were unimaginable a few years ago,” said Erica Pretorius, Partner and National Leader for the Technology Fast 50™ program at Deloitte Canada. “Fast 50 winners have led the way and I can’t wait to see where they take us next.”
