Voices CEO Returns to Hometown, Thunder Bay, to Share Business Insights
London, ON | February 02, 2016
An internationally-renowned business leader will be back in his hometown of Thunder Bay, Ontario this week as part of a local initiative to bring together some of North America’s top keynote speakers and professionals. —
That business leader is David Ciccarelli. Born and raised in Thunder Bay, David is the co-founder and CEO of Voices, the largest online marketplace for voice-over in the world.
After moving from Thunder Bay to London, Ontario, David pursued his passion for innovation during the first dot com boom, the result of which catapulted him onto the scene as a pioneer in his field in the early 2000s. Since then, David has been running a web company that has won countless awards, been mentioned in the LA Times, the Wall Street Journal, and Forbes, and has helped over 125,000 voice actors showcase their talent to over 100,000 clients. Companies that use Voices include Google, National Geographic, and Nintendo.
As a keynote speaker at the Digital Media Summit, held at the Valhalla Inn in Thunder Bay, David will be sharing the story of how his company began, the reasons for its continued growth, and how focusing on a vibrant company culture has played a pivotal role in attracting great candidates and positively impacting the 100-year-old industry he has helped to revolutionize and lead.
“Coming home to share what I’ve been up to with the business community of Thunder Bay is a humbling experience,” says David. “We’ve come a long way and I’m looking forward to providing a framework on how to create a thriving culture fueled by the pursuit of excellence, dedication and innovation.”
This two-day event over February 23rd and 24th will see speakers share their insights on succeeding in a global market using social media and new digital marketing tools.
