“Voices’s Growth Journey” Wins Canadian CMC Project of the Year Award

Voices, the largest online marketplace for voice actors and audio production services in the world, has been recognized by the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CMC-Canada) as a winner of the 2018 Canadian CMC Project of the Year Award.

Voices was nominated this past June by the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) for the project titled “Voices’s Growth Journey,” which was submitted by BDC’s Glenn Yonemitsu, FCMC, Senior Executive Advisor, High-Impact Firms – Ontario, who served as project lead. The engagement, which began in 2016, included strategic growth planning, development, and support, which has contributed to Voices cementing its position as the undisputed leader in the voice over industry with the largest market share online.

“The ability of a consultant to effect positive change is directly related to the openness, receptivity, and action orientation of the client,” Glenn Yonemitsu said. “The leadership team at Voices were ideal clients and we worked effectively together for an optimum solution.”

Winners of the Canadian CMC Project of the Year award move forward as nominees for the international Constantinus Award in Milan. The CMC Project of the Year Award recognizes excellence in management consulting in Canada, while the international Constantinus Awards showcase excellence in consulting services worldwide.

Voices is one of three winners for the Project of the Year Award, which also includes the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, Alberta, for “Back to Business Coaching Program,” and Peru Food Safety Capacity Building for “Canada Americas Trade Related Technical Assistance (CATRTA) Program.”

Voices is the only London, Ontario winner of the CMC Project of the Year Award, and will be competing against global entries over the next few months. Winners of the international award will be announced in September.
