Voices Announced as Finalist in The 2015 Business Achievement Awards’ Excellence in HR Category
London, ON | January 27, 2015
Voices, the company that has been on a hiring spree for the past year, and that has been widely-recognized as one of the hottest places to work in Canada, has been announced as a finalist for the 2015 Business Achievement Awards (BAAs) in the Excellence in Human Resources (HR) category.
The Business Achievement Awards were established in 1982 by the London Chamber of Commerce to celebrate local achievement and excellence. The event has since become the biggest in the country, with over 1,200 business professionals attending the awards gala to announce and celebrate the year’s winners. This year, a team from Voices will be attending the March 25th event, and the company’s HR Manager Kaitlyn Annaert will be part of the team representing Voices.
“We went from a company of 2 to that of 70, and we are still growing every month,” Kaitlyn explains. “We do everything we can to provide the absolute best, most inclusive workplace for our team, and being chosen as a finalist for the Excellence in HR award symbolizes that commitment. What an honour it is to be a finalist for this year’s Business Achievement Awards.”
The BAA’s category of Excellence in HR category for 2015 was coordinated by The London Chamber of Commerce and the Human Resources Professionals of London and District (HRPLD). This specific award is meant to recognize businesses whose human resources policies and practices promote creative solutions to current challenges, across a variety of industries. Nominees for this award had to demonstrate to the award selection committee a commitment to diversity, community outreach, and the use of innovative best practices in the areas of recruitment, retention, and management.
