Comments
Man, totally misleading.
You call these packages free and claim to describe the limitations of the free versions but when I look at each one, they are not free, or they add a watermark to the videos when you export them.
Try providing the truth next time.
Really, really not good.
Hi Jeff,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. I can see where you are coming from! While there are a lot of free options throughout this piece, there are others that come with a small fee ranging from $5.00 to $40.00—with the exception of LightWorks’ one time fee of $390. I suppose we thought we were adding value by including the software options just a bit outside of the “free” mark (again with the exception of LightWorks.)
I’ll make this a priority for updating with more accurate language around “low cost” options as opposed to just “free.” And will invest more time to expand on the pros and cons of each option. Is there a particular video editing software in the list that you have used before? I would love to incorporate your thoughts on the pros and cons of that one!
Thanks again for bringing this to our attention,
Best,
Niki
