Feel free to use these scripts for practice reads and demos! Keep in mind that, when auditioning for jobs, it is recommended to only provide a small portion of the read. For example, a 5 to 7-second read of a 15-second script will suffice for your audition.
What is an example of a jingle?
Jingles are short songs or catchy musical refrains that promote a product in a TV commercial or radio spot.
The purpose of a jingle is to capture a listener’s attention and present an upbeat impression about a product or service. Jingles are meant to be as memorable as possible, serving as an ideal marketing tool.

How do you write a radio jingle script?
To write a catchy jingle, you have to find a clever way to incorporate your brand name, slogan, and value proposition into lyrics that can be crafted into a melody. Many jingle writers compose the music and write the lyrics at the same time.
The difference between regular songwriters and jingle writers is that jingles are written specifically to advertise a product.
Jingles should be brief and memorable. The most effective length for a jingle is believed to range from 15 and 25 seconds, but they can be anywhere between five to 60 seconds.

How do you suggest handling creating your profile if you literally have no experience, no clients, no ratings?
Hi Carolyn,
Great question, and one we hear a lot. The best place to start is with creating your demos to showcase your talent. That, of course, involves understanding where your talent shines best. For example, is your voice best suited for upbeat and energetic radio spots, or warm and informative elearning modules? From there, creating demos that showcase those specific styles will help you be discovered by clients seeking out voice actors who can perform those specific styles.
Why don’t you head over to our beginners guide? It walks you through everything you need to know and have prepared before you begin filling out your profile.
Wishing you all the best,
Niki
Am Glad to see and having gain such a great knowledge and opportunity to try this coz am having a project in hand
I’ve got a wide variety of owned jingles. Where can I place them and earn?
Hey Chuck! You can post your jingles on our project marketplace! https://www.voices.com/projects/search?keywords=
Yes, I’d love to give it a shot.
Ok. I am not tech savvy. I need to know what kind of equipment I need to do this. I am a musician & have performed classical music for about 40 years. But I’m retired now. I understand stage presence, projection, etc. This will be fun.
I just sent a message because I couldn’t find the confirmation message. I found it & I’m down the rabbit hole this far. Thanks.
Debbie
